As Founder and CEO, Gary provides the strategic vision for Living Residential’s continued expansion and growth opportunities. He sets the mission and operational standards, overseeing a team of asset and property managers to ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of the company. Gary is also dedicated to fostering and maintaining key relationships with lenders and partners.

Gary’s real estate career began in commercial financing, where he served as a commercial loan originator at Meridian Capital Group. In this role, he successfully negotiated hundreds of millions of dollars in real estate financing across various asset types.

In 2015, Gary transitioned from Meridian to pursue the development of a fully integrated real estate business. Beginning with a 60-unit multifamily property in New York City, he strategically expanded the portfolio to encompass over 2,000 units in the following years.

In 2018, Gary founded Living Residential with the objective of expanding his real estate portfolio beyond New York City. By strategically acquiring high-quality, cash-flowing assets in multiple markets across the United States, Living Residential has grown its portfolio to encompass over 5,000 apartments. These assets are located in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Texas, Ohio, Kentucky, and Missouri.

As Chief Financial Officer for Living Residential Azriel’s extensive experience in internal control, financial analysis and reporting for both private and publicly traded companies, is key to the company’s management of finances, reporting and controls.

Azriel’s expertise is a vital asset earning Living Residential the strong confidence of some of the most prestigious lenders, who have come to rely on its thorough cost analyses and financial documentation.

Prior to joining Living Residential, Azriel served as an Audit & Advisory Professional at Deloitte & Touche, LLP where he successfully led audit teams on both large public and privately held corporations. In addition to audits, Azriel has assisted on multiple advisory projects including implementation of new internal controls as well as assisting clients in the completion of complex transactions.

Yitz began his career in public accounting. He is a licensed CPA and spent 5 years in the audit department at the prestigious Cohen Reznick CPAs. After 5 years in public accounting, Yitz took his people skills and financial acumen to the private sector. He began with overseeing a large scale apartment renovation campaign in Manhattan and eventually transitioned to the regional manager of our New Jersey portfolio. After 2 years as regional manager Yitz assumed the role of Chief Operating Officer for all of Living Residential's portfolio.

Yitz specializes in setting up systems and processes utilizing cutting edge technology. This ensures that our properties are running efficiently, within budget while at the same time providing an excellent customer service experience to our residents.

His background in finance and internal controls as well as his customer first mentality has endeared him to both our staff as well as our residents.
